The state’s most well-known hill stations include Mainpat, Chirmiri, Ambikapur, Gadiya Mountain, and Baila Dila. Let’s have a look at some of Chhattisgarh’s most beautiful hill stations:
Gadiya, also known as Kila Dongri, is the state’s highest peak, located in the Kanker district. The magnificent Doodh river, which flows straight beneath the mountain, is one of the region’s main attractions.
This is one of the most beautiful hill stations in the state, located in the Dantewada area at an elevation of 1276 metres. The area is rich in natural beauty, with several beautiful waterfalls and lush green forests.
Because of its Tibetan refugee communities, Mainpat is also known as Mini Tibet. The lovely hill resort, which is located at an elevation of 1100 metres, includes dense woods and gushing waterfalls. There are further tribal communities of Manjhi Majhwar, Kanwar, and Pahadi Korwa in the area.
Chirmiri, in the Koriya district, is another lovely hill station to visit in Chhattisgarh. The location is often referred to as Chhattisgarh’s Heaven. There are some very old caverns, historic temples, magnificent rivers, and spectacular waterfalls to be found here. Tamor Pingla Wildlife Sanctuary and Semarsot Wildlife Sanctuary are the hill station’s main attractions.
